Bee Workshop

Bee-Keeping Workshop
with Peter Lammert

Wednesday, May 27th
6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Did you know that bees are the only insect which provide food for human beings? Or that bees buzz because their wings stroke 11,400 times per minute? How about the fact that honey bees can fly for up to six miles, and can go as fast as 15 miles per hour!

Join us Wednesday, May 27th at the Thomaston Library for a presentation from local bee-keeper Pete Lammert on bees and beekeeping. He'll share introductory tips on raising these fascinating insects as well as more of the lore of bees. The workshop will 'bee'gin at 6:00 p.m.

This workshop is free of charge and open to all community members. For more information, call the Thomaston Library at (207) 354-2453.
