Friday Night Film Series

The Friends of the Thomaston Public Library present:

Notorious

Alicia Huberman (Ingrid Bergman) gains notoriety when her father is convicted of treasona gainst the United States as a Nazi spy. Soon after, she meets a stranger named Devlin (Cary Grant). Devlin reveals that he is a U.S. Intelligence agent and asks her to help him trap a Nazi mastermind. Because she has fallen in love with Devlin, she agrees - but as she gets more involved she realizes she's putting her life in danger. Nominated for two Academy Awards in 1947, including Best Screenplay.
Friday night films are present free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted. Light refreshments will be served and the Thomaston Academy Building is handicapped accessable by the parking lot entrance. For more information call the library at 354-2453.
