Friday Night Film Series

The Friends of the Thomaston Library present:

Cabaret
Friday, January 21st
6:30 PM
Thomaston Academy, Room 208

A British scribe (Micheal York) and his comrades -- including a flamboyant American nightclub entertainter named Sally Bowles (Liza Minnelli) -- chronicle the debauchery and turbulence of prewar Berlin in director Bob Fosse's musical adaptation of Christopher Isherwood's Berlin stories. Existing in a morally ambiguous void, the characters doggedly maintain their facades as the world outside the cabaret gears for war.

Friday night films are shown free of charge and light refreshments will be served. Donations are gratefully accepted and the Thomaston Academy Building is handicapped accessable from the parking lot entrance. For more information, call the library at 354-2453.
