Friday Night Film Series

The Friends of the Thomaston Library present:

The Great Caruso

Mario Lanza stars in this Oscar-winning fictionalized account of Italian tenor Enrico Caruso's journey from obscurity in Naples to his celebrated operatic career at the Met in New York. Directed by Richard Thorpe and featuring a magnificent score, this musical extravaganza also stars Ann Blyth, Dorothy Kirsten, Richard Hageman, Carl Benton Reid, Eduard Franz and Jarmila Novotna. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.


The Academy Building is handicap accessible by the elevator in the parking lot. Call the library at 354- 2453 for further information. Doors open at 6:00 and the Hallway Books bookshop is open in the hallway of the first floor.
